I'm so embarrassed! I haven't added anything in the last year and a half, and so much has changed. My sweet Benjamin is in heaven, November 23, 2009. Alayna was in Australia with YWAM for four months and Mexico City, Mexico for two months serving with YWAM. I volunteered in skidrow downtown Los Angeles for 5 weeks and Alayna broke her leg again. :( But God is always good!

Hooray for 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18.  For we do not grieve as those who have no hope, the Lord Himself will come down from heaven and will raise her from the dead and we'll be caught up together.  I'm so excited to see my little Ariella again.

4.21.08 to 8.21.08  Four months but she made a difference anyway.

this is my sweet grandbaby's last day on this earth with her mommy.   She is extraordinary.  She is because she is not present here, she is present with Jesus, so Ariella Rose will never be "was."  There is not a day that goes by that we don't miss her.  

My beautiful baby granddaughter went to be with the Lord August 21, 2008, 11 p.m. She was exactly four months old. I cannot express how amazing it is to hold your grandchild. Even though my daughter was a teenage mother, I would not take it back. It was the best four months of our lives. We have so much to look forward to. I'll continue putting on pictures of her and our family, she was a blessing.

Who can know a mother's love? Ariella does. Alayna loves her but not too proud to ask for help. She chose life, even when the mistake was glaring. She put her life last and Ariella's first. Ariella wasn't supposed to live past 1 to 2 days, in the hospital she wouldn't eat. Alayna was tenacious, she fed her with an eye dropper. She finally got her to eat from a bottle. She now eats 4 oz at a time! Praise God!

Alayna and Ariella. She loves her. She was offered a medical abortion because Ariella does not have a brain. She is hydrancephalic. She was given 1 to 2 days to live, she is 6 days old here. Estella's photography from Madison, SD came in and graciously converted my living room to a photography studio. We didn't know if we would even get the pictures that day. One of Ariella's hospice nurses were there also.
